Size guide
Use these charts to find your size, then tell us when you enquire on WhatsApp — we confirm the size with you before anything is made. The size or length of a particular piece is confirmed on the same chat.
Bangle sizes
Indian bangle sizes give the inner diameter in inches and sixteenths: a 2.4 is 2 and 4/16 inches across the inside.
| Size | Inner diameter | In millimetres | Inner circumference |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2.2 | 2 2/16″ (2.125″) | 54.0 mm | 169.6 mm |
| 2.4 | 2 4/16″ (2.25″) | 57.2 mm | 179.5 mm |
| 2.6 | 2 6/16″ (2.375″) | 60.3 mm | 189.5 mm |
| 2.8 | 2 8/16″ (2.5″) | 63.5 mm | 199.5 mm |
| 2.10 | 2 10/16″ (2.625″) | 66.7 mm | 209.5 mm |
How to measure
- From a bangle that fits: lay it flat and measure straight across the inside, edge to edge, at the widest point. Match that to the diameter above.
- From your hand: bring your thumb and little finger together as if slipping a bangle on, and measure around the widest part of the hand (over the knuckles) with a tape or a strip of paper. Match that to the circumference above, and go up a size if you are between two.
Kadas that open with a screw or hinge only need to fit the wrist, so they are more forgiving than closed bangles.
Ring sizes
Many of our rings are adjustable and fit most fingers — the product name says so. For a fixed-size ring, the Indian size is roughly the inner circumference in millimetres minus 40.
| Indian size | Inner circumference | Inner diameter |
|---|---|---|
| 8 | 48 mm | 15.3 mm |
| 10 | 50 mm | 15.9 mm |
| 12 | 52 mm | 16.6 mm |
| 14 | 54 mm | 17.2 mm |
| 16 | 56 mm | 17.8 mm |
| 18 | 58 mm | 18.5 mm |
| 20 | 60 mm | 19.1 mm |
How to measure
- Measure across the inside of a ring that fits the same finger, or wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it meets, and measure the strip.
- Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and make sure the ring will pass over the knuckle.
Necklace lengths
| Style | Typical length | Where it sits |
|---|---|---|
| Choker | 14–16 in (35–40 cm) | Close around the neck |
| Princess | 17–19 in (43–48 cm) | On the collarbone |
| Matinee | 20–24 in (50–60 cm) | Between the collarbone and the bust |
| Long / Rani haar | 28–36 in (70–90 cm) | Below the bust |
Most traditional sets and chokers close with an adjustable dori (cord) at the back, so the same piece can be worn tighter or a little lower.
